Oil and Gas projects in Norway

Alvheim Field

Description

Alvheim lies in water depths of 120 - 130 metres in the central section of the Norwegian North Sea, close to the UK border. The main Alvheim project was launched under the stewardship of Marathon Oil in June 2008, but the current operator, Aker BP, has since tied-back satellites at Boyla, Vilje, and Volund to the Alvheim area FPSO.
