Cygnus Field
Description
Cygnus field is the largest single producing gas field in the UK Southern North Sea. Cygnus Alpha has a wellhead platform with 10 drilling slots, a processing and utilities unit, and a living quarters platform with central control room. Cygnus Bravo is located 7km northwest of Alpha. It is an unmanned satellite wellhead platform with additional 10 well slots. Output from the Cygnus complex is transported through the 55-km long Esmond Transmission System pipeline which ends at Bacton gas terminal in Norfolk.
