Muscat-Sohar Products Pipeline (MSPP)

Description

The Muscat-Sohar Products Pipeline (MSPP) project is a multi-product, bi-directional pipeline that will connect the Sohar plant with the 35-year-old, 106,000-bpd Mina al-Fahal refinery near Muscat via the new Al-Jifnain storage and distribution terminal on the outskirts of the capital. The estimated US$320 million scheme is being implemented by a novel public/private partnership between ORPIC, with 60%, and Spanish infrastructure specialist Compania Logistica de Hidrocarburos (CLH).
