West Qurna Phase II (2)

Description

The West Qurna II concession covers the northern portion of the West Qurna field in southern Iraq. It is expected to reach production levels of 1.8 million barrels per day at peak production and a remuneration fee of US$1.15 per barrel for each additional barrel from initial production (120,000 bpd). Production Phases: Phase 1 (Early Oil Mishrif formation) will increase output from 120,000 bpd to 400,000 bpd Phase 2 (Mishrif Full Field Development) will increase production by 150,000 bpd (to 550,000 bpd). Phase 3 will focus on the deeper Yamama formation to add another 650,000 bpd.
